چکیده

Background: The current study aims to measure the effect of oxidative stress on pregnancy rates Bulgarian Murrah buffaloes during breeding and non-breeding season.
Methods: group consisted 24 mature more than 40 days after parturition. following parameters were measured: Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) products, Ascorbate radicals, Malondialdehyde (MDA), Nitric Oxide (NO), Super Dismutase (SOD), Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), Protein Carbonyl Content (PPC), total oxide. Presynch/Ovsynch protocol was used for estrus synchronization.
Results: A statistically significant increase in ROS products measured blood serum season compared with season. highest levels non-pregnant High registered due low SOD activity observed summer lowest GSH-Px both periods. During season, concentrations NO PPC elevated.
Conclusion: Comparing obtained results antioxidant concerning rate depending showed that realized at higher values SOD. Increased observed, resulting a as well decreased

Sexual behavior and hormone levels of Kıvırcık ewes after estrus synchronization during and out of the breeding season

The aim of the study was to investigate the sexual behavior and hormonal changes in Kıvırcık ewes synchronized during and out of the breeding season. Feeding, individual and eliminative behaviors of the ewes were also recorded. Group I ewes were synchronized during the breeding season and Group II ewes were synchronized out of the breeding season. At the end of synchronization protocol, ewes we...

The “Male Effect” Onestrous Synchronization and Reproductive Characteristics of Female Markhoz Goat during the Breeding Season

One hundred female Markhoz goats (42±5 kg) were used to investigate the ‘male effect’ on estrous synchronization and reproductive characteristics of female goat during the breeding season. This was carried out in three separate experiments. In the first experiment, forty female goats were used in 4 groups with different distance from the male goats (i.e. source of pheromone secretion); A1 (1 me...
